I am 37 year old male. I'm on hypertension medications since 29 and had been prescribed amlokind at. A month earlier due to bp hike, my medications have been changed to cilnipres 10 (day) vand metolar xr 25 (night) a week ago. Also on anxit 0.25 at bedtime for insomnia. Further, I had undergone certain tests as recommended by doctor such as lipid profile test, liver function test, kidney function test, haemoglobin and thyroid tests. All reports came out normal. Things are under control right now. My first query is that I would like to know whether I can go for generic drugs which are cost effective vin place of prescribed ones like cilniblu 10 or cold 19 and can't xr 25 or angibloc xr 25 which are substitutes. Secondly, I do have a problem of allergic rhinitis with sneezing, sore throat, dry cough, watery eyes, etc. For which I take levosiz m as and when required. But the problem persists after stopping medications. Is there any permanent way to ward off such allergies. Please revert back with suitable medications.
